Fliming
We filmed on Saturday all day as we wanted the whole day to make sure we got everything done. We arranged to meet at 11 at our location but one of our actors couldn't make it till a few hours later. While waiting me and Ellie worked out how we were going to shoot in the house and the different shots which would look suitable throughout the scene. When we started to film the first shot was outside, the only problem was the wind as it kept moving the tri-pod and we couldn't catch the actors voice's very clearly. We wanted to make the shot in the fridge effective, this took a few shots to get it right as we had to have it in the right place so you could see the actor and the ice cream which was being taken out. We achieved the different shots of our character sitting in different positions but we aren't quite sure how we are going to edit this to make it look good. The different shots at the beginning of our character 'Donna' are going to be in the different slide transitions which we got the idea from the opening scene of 'Definatly, Maybe'. We wanted to be quick filming outside as the costumes our actors were wearing were t-shirts, luckily the house was warm inside and only took a few shots. We had a few problems with the camera throughout filming as the battery went down quite quickly, the battery ran out 3 times which delayed our filming.

Some examples of your footage might help exemplify what you are doing?
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned, it would be useful to see some examples of footage, particularly those you have commented on. Also, some screengrabs/ photos would help. Most importantly, you need to make sure that you consider how you will deal with some of the problems you identify - will you need to reshoot some footage or re-record some dialogue? How are you going to achieve this? Links to your script and storyboard would help - how close does your work match up? Your blogging seems to have slowed down - one entry in a week is not enough. Make sure you are clearly commenting on your progress, in particular having reviewed your footage and considered the outcomes. An edit choice list would be really helpful.
